- I agree, our roads, and bridges, sewer lines, water mains, and gas and electric systems are all aging badly. This latest event will cost us, the taxpayer, a lot of $ inasmuch as Columbia Gas will have to cough up the BIG BUCKS to pay out for the impeding law suits sure to occur.

- I have been looking for a recipe for Boston butt roast for awhile. This looks and reads just like what I have been looking for. Finally!! Putting cider and pork together will get me to the grocers by Sat. so I can cook my own Boston butt this Sunday!

- I watch everyday and love all the fun they have on the show and how they are "real' people with all the problems we in non-TV-land have. Good Job, you guys on screen and off-screen, because the little guy who mans the camera is just as important as anyone else on the show.

- I don't think these parents are to be considered unfit, just a bit off. Sending these two kids on small sailboats at their ages is a lot to expect from the kids themselves. But, they were experienced and they did have safety features that led to her rescue. She says she'll try again.

Yes, and I've stopped eating foods with artificial dyes
Would you let your young daughter dance like this?
No. Not a chance. The dancing is great, but the outfits are way too revealing for 7-year-olds.
- I have a 13 year old granddaughter and I wouldn't like her to dress this way at all. There are too many young girls that dress way too revealing in our public schools today, that you almost wish they would be required to wear uniforms. Those Moms were exploiting their kids via the internet.
Do you think a candidate's looks are fair game during elections?
- She was being so petty and not at all someone I would vote for. That said, I agree that the abilities and intelligence of any candidate should be the reason anyone shouild vote, but we are all prone to "look" at a candidate's appearance first and judge them first that way.
Do you monitor your kids' intake of sugary drinks?
No. I let them make their own choices.
- My kids are way past the age of my telling them what to drink. But, I do try to not have any sugary drinks in my house when the grandkids
Would you eat cheese made from breast milk?
No. Breast milk is for babies and shouldn't be consumed in any other form. It's a total publicity stunt on the chef's part.
- I breast fed 4 children. Any left-over breast milk in the freezer was dumped after a few days to make room for other foods.
Do you think it's OK for parents to bring kids to work?
No. Most work environments are not kid-friendly and kids should definitely not be allowed to participate in the work when the safety of others is involved.
- As a high school teacher, back in the 70's, I don't think my pre-school kids would have been welcomed in my English classes. But, it was o-kay for coaches kids to go to gym classes with them (male coaches) that is.
- Since I was a teacher many years ago, there was no way I could bring my four kids to work. I don't see the advantage of it in any case.
